DX Today is a free media publication. We don't collect email addresses, run user accounts, sell advertising, or charge for content. This page describes what we do and don't do, and the legal terms that apply when you use this site.
DX Today ("we," "our," or "us") publishes free editorial content covering artificial intelligence, generative AI, and digital transformation. This Privacy Statement explains what information we collect — and don't collect — when you visit dxtoday.com (the "Site").
The short version: we are a publication, not a platform. We don't run user accounts, we don't capture email addresses, we don't sell advertising, and we don't sell or rent personal data to anyone. The longer version follows.
Unlike many media sites, DX Today does not collect the following:
If a future version of the Site adds any of these features, this Privacy Statement will be updated before that feature goes live.
When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by our hosting provider and by third-party content embedded in the Site:
Our hosting provider (Tiiny Host) maintains standard server logs that may include your IP address, browser type, the pages you visited, and the date and time of your visit. This is industry-standard server activity logging used to operate and secure the Site. We do not actively analyze, profile, or monetize these logs.
Several pages on the Site embed content from third-party services. When these embeds load, those third parties may set their own cookies and collect information per their respective privacy policies, which we do not control:
If you wish to limit the data these third parties collect, you can adjust your browser's cookie and tracking settings, use a privacy-focused browser, or visit the Site without triggering the embedded content (for example, the Watch page can be skipped if you do not wish to load the YouTube player).
The DX Today site itself does not set first-party tracking, advertising, or profiling cookies. Cookies you may encounter are set by the third-party embeds described above (YouTube, Buzzsprout, RSS.app), and are governed by those services' policies. You can clear cookies, block third-party cookies, or use private browsing to limit cookie storage.
The limited information collected automatically (server logs and third-party embed data) is used only to:
We do not use this information to build advertising profiles, sell to data brokers, or share with marketing partners. We do not run advertising on the Site.
We do not sell, trade, or rent any information. The only circumstances in which information may be shared:
Because we don't collect personal data from you directly, most data-subject rights have limited application here. However, if you believe we hold information about you and you wish to exercise rights of access, correction, deletion, or portability, please contact us at rick@dxtoday.com.
For information collected by third-party embeds (YouTube, Buzzsprout, etc.), please contact those providers directly using the links above.
If you are in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, the limited automatic data collection described above is processed under our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site. We do not process special-category personal data. Third-party embed providers may process your data under their own legal bases as described in their respective policies.
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Because we do not collect email addresses or run user accounts, the categories of personal information we hold are limited to standard server-log data described above.
The Site is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at rick@dxtoday.com and we will take appropriate action.
The Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., the limited automatic data collection described above may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Please review periodically.

DX Today is an independent, vendor-neutral media publication. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information presented on the Site. However, DX Today makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, applicability, fitness, or completeness of the content provided.
The information published on DX Today is intended for journalistic, educational, and informational purposes only. Coverage of products, vendors, technologies, frameworks, and trends is editorial analysis and commentary — not professional, legal, financial, investment, medical, or operational advice. Readers should always seek the advice of qualified professionals before making decisions based on information found on the Site.
DX Today does not accept payment for editorial coverage. Vendors cannot purchase coverage, sponsorship slots, "sponsored research," guest posts, or favorable treatment of any kind. When DX Today covers a company, product, or technology, it is because we judged the subject editorially consequential — not because someone paid for placement.
Mentions of specific companies, products, vendors, services, or technologies do not constitute endorsement. References are for informational and analytical purposes only. Past coverage does not predict future coverage. Editorial decisions are made independently and are not subject to influence by external parties, including subjects of coverage.
A note on the related operation: The operator of DX Today, Rick Spair, also operates AIXF (aixf.ai) — a separate company offering revenue intelligence consulting, AI applications, and technology services. AIXF is the commercial side. DX Today is the media side. The two are deliberately distinct: they share an operator and a worldview, but they do not share editorial decisions, sponsorship arrangements, or audience monetization. AIXF clients receive no preferential editorial treatment from DX Today. This separation is non-negotiable, because it is what makes DX Today's reporting trustworthy.
The DX Today brand, logo, podcast cover art, and original content (including but not limited to written articles, audio episodes, video coverage, and the Expert Reports library) are the property of DX Today. No part of the Site may be reproduced or used in any manner without express written permission, except for brief quotations in articles, reviews, or academic commentary with proper attribution and a link to the original source.
By using this Site, you agree to the terms set forth in this Editorial Disclaimer along with the Privacy Statement and Terms & Conditions above.
